    A world of wild nature

Tanzania is a unique destination and arguably the most popular resort on the African coast. People come to Tanzania for its wild nature and pristine white beaches. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture herds of elephants peacefully strolling against the backdrop of snow-capped mountain peaks and sprawling baobab trees. You can visit anytime as the climate here is tropical and warm all year round. However, during spring and autumn, there are rains, so to fully enjoy a beach vacation, choose any time from June to September.

    In the wild lion's realm

If you think Tanzania is just about basking in the sun, you're wrong! Thanks to its magnificent landscapes and rich wildlife, Tanzania offers an incredible variety of activities. For adventure enthusiasts, visiting one of the numerous national parks is a must. Serengeti is home to the largest lion population. Ngorongoro, situated inside an enormous crater, looks like an oasis amidst a cosmic landscape. Here, you can observe pink flamingos. Tarangire is particularly popular among bird enthusiasts, hosting over 300 bird species. However, perhaps the most unusual park is Natron. There is the lake with the same name flowing through the park and several times a year, salt deposits turn its waters pink. Flamingos stroll in the coastal waters, with a volcano looming in the background.

    Never a dull moment

Fans of active holidays can engage in any water sport on the famous Zanzibar Island. If there is a perfect place in the world for diving, it's undoubtedly Tanzania. The water is crystal-clear and almost transparent, providing excellent visibility to observe underwater life and coral reefs. An even more exotic option is to descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. With a depth of 600 meters, it is considered the largest crater in the world. For the more prepared, climbing to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro is an option. It requires reaching an altitude of 6,000 meters, but the marvellous sunrises and sunsets fully compensate for the challenging journey.

    Cultural exploration

Nature is not the only thing Tanzania is known for. Visit the old capital Dar-es-Salaam, the cities of Dodoma and Bagamoyo to learn more about the country's daily life and traditions. Admire beautiful mosques, temples, and palaces. By the way, Tanzania has countless religions and ethnic groups. The population of the island still consists of various tribes, each preserving its traditions. So, if you're lucky, you might witness local rituals, such as Maasai dances or Bushmen ceremonies. One of the most vibrant festivals, the Swahili Culture Festival, takes place in February. The goal of the festival is to preserve African culture. Groups from different parts of Africa gather in Stone Town for several days to play, sing, dance, and showcase everything that defines the essence Swahili!

    Where to go?

The first thing that comes to mind is the famous Zanzibar Island. You've probably seen photos of spacious white beaches, hammocks swaying peacefully in the shade of sprawling palms, and bungalows with thatched roofs hanging over crystal-clear blue waters. That's all Zanzibar. Equally charming is Pemba. The only difference is that Zanzibar always has a lot of young people and vibrant nightlife. Pemba, with its secluded coves, is more suitable for a romantic getaway. If you're traveling with children, it's best to choose family resorts in Dar-es-Salaam or Nungwi, where there are entertainment options for the little ones.
