The trail is approximately 6 km round trip and takes about three hours to complete. It is important to book tickets in advance, as only a limited number of visitors are allowed per day, ensuring a more peaceful and enjoyable hiking experience.
At the end of the trail, you'll find a waterfall, which may be more modest in the summer, but this doesn't diminish the value of the hiking experience. The journey through the mountains is truly enjoyable, offering the chance to experience the hot and dry sunshine while also admiring lush tropical areas. It's recommended to bring plenty of water and a light snack for the hike.
Before starting the trail, you can also visit Casa Fuerte de Adeje, a former sugar refinery that now hosts an art exhibition. The building's owners are currently working on its restoration, offering visitors the chance to explore the region's history and culture.

The entire route is approximately 14 km long and takes about 7 hours. If you prefer a shorter option, you can head directly towards Chamorga at El Draguillo.

Roque de Taborno, often referred to as the 'Tenerife's Matterhorn' is a unique rocky peak that rises impressively to 706 metres on the northern coast of the Anaga Peninsula. The hike begins in the village of Taborno in the Anaga Nature Park. The trail leads you past a small church down to a viewpoint, offering an initial glimpse of the harmony between the cliffs and the sea. As you move around Roque de Taborno, the trail offers increasingly deep and powerful ocean panoramas, until you return to the village.
The entire round trail is about 4 km long and takes approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes. The trail is of moderate difficulty.
